The biggest problem we have in life is thinking we shouldn’t have any.

Tony Robbins said in an interview with Alex Hormozi, “The biggest problem we have in life is thinking we shouldn’t have any.”
Because problems aren’t proof you’re failing. They’re often proof you’re stretching.
The real problem, isn't the problem!
Most of the stress we feel isn’t because something’s gone wrong, it’s because we’ve decided it shouldn’t be happening.
We hit a wobble in business, a dip in confidence, a tricky client, a month where money feels tight, a week where motivation disappears… and instead of thinking, “Okay, what’s next?” we go straight to, “What’s wrong with me?”
That little belief, ‘I shouldn’t be struggling,’ turns a normal challenge into a full-on spiral.
And it’s so common, especially for women who are building businesses around real life, real responsibilities and real energy levels.
Problems are a sign you;re moving. If you’re growing, you will have problems.
Because problems are what happens when you:
raise your standards
try something new
stretch beyond what’s familiar
stop playing small
choose a different way of doing life and business
No problems usually don’t mean “everything’s perfect.” It often means you’re staying safe, staying quiet, staying the same.
And you’re not here for that. Solutions are where the magic is...
We forget that solving problems is actually one of the most satisfying parts of being human.
It’s where we learn who we are, where we build trust in ourselves, where we get resourceful and brave, where we realise we can handle more than we thought we could.
The solution might be a boundary.
It might be a new system.
It might be a hard conversation.
It might be asking for help.
It might be changing your offer.
Or (and this one matters) it might be resting, because you’ve been trying to power through on empty.
But whatever it is, the act of finding it is what makes life interesting - and it’s what grows you.
So next time you hit a problem (because you will), instead of asking:
“Why is this happening to me?”
Try:
“What is this here to teach me?”“What’s the next right step?”“Who do I need to become to solve this?”
Because the goal isn’t a problem-free life.
The goal is a life where you trust yourself to meet the problems, learn from them, and keep moving.
And if you’re in it right now and things feel messy, heavy, complicated, or like you’ve got 17 plates spinning and you’re one wobble away from chucking it all in… you’re not broken.
You’re growing. And you don’t have to figure it out alone.
